Synopsis:

For fans of Christina Lauren and Jodi Ellen Malpas comes the next novel in M. O’Keefe’s breathtakingly sexy series about a woman called into a journey of the heart, body, and soul.

We played our roles, told each other lies.

But now Dylan is no longer just a mysterious deep voice on the other end of the line. We’re face-to-face and our relationship is very, very real.

We still have secrets—but so much is crystal clear:

The thrilling danger.

The raw, naked desire.

The need to keep feeling the way he makes me feel. Forever.

Dylan is putting up walls, trying to keep me safe, but he can’t shut me out. He has seen my darkness and rescued me. Now it’s my turn, if only he will let me.

ABOUT THE BOOK

Two wounded people, Annie and Dylan, have finally come together though their troubles are only beginning. They must deal with outside adversaries—biker gangs, estranged husbands and fathers, untrustworthy friends—while working to overcome their own traumatic events in their pasts and navigating their new relationship.

Kirkus called Everything I Left Unsaid, “breathtaking and passionately intense—a must-read for erotic romance fans” and the same rings true for THE TRUTH ABOUT HIM. O’Keefe’s brilliant character study and meticulous plotting will keep readers on the edge of their seats until the very end.

DUO REVIEW

I want to thank the publisher for providing me with early paperback copies of both Everything I Left Unsaid & The Truth About Him for an honest review.

Everything I Left Unsaid was sexy, mysterious, and honestly I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the other shoe to drop. I was flying through the pages it had me hooked from the first chapter when she answered the phone.

Annie was scared and she knew that she had to hide who she was. Annie was running from her past, from her abusive husband. She answered the phone left in the cushion of her new place, and it says Dylan on the screen. Annie struggled with if she should answer it but decided she should, and it was just a phone she could say she was someone else.

That is when this game begins between Dylan and Annie but she tells him her name is Layla. They both are keeping things from each other but with just phone calls to communicate, who could get hurt by that?

Annie is from a farm and has always been expected by her mother and then her husband to be the perfect girl. Virtuous, good, and hard working. She wants to discover other sides of herself and who she really is. Dylan can tell Layla (Annie) is good but wants to test her boundaries and he is willing to help her.

That is the truth, wasn’t it? We could all be so many things. Victims and criminals. Sinners and saints. Devious and virtuous.

What will happen when Dylan and Annie see each other, and secrets come to light? Will Annie’s husband find her? You have to read this first book to find out. It will leave you wanting more, and I had to jump right into the next book. It was a definite 5 out of 5 stars.

The Truth About Him picked right up where the last book left off, which made me so happy since I was on the edge of my seat dying too see what would happen next. I loved the relationship and chemistry in this book.

Everything changes for Annie and Dylan in this book. Their relationship is not over the phone anymore, and they think they have worked past all their secrets, only to have new issues and new secrets come in between them.

Annie is determined not to let anything get in the way of her future happiness. She has already lived a life of regret and misery. Dylan doesn’t know what he is fighting for since he has never known love and is scared to get hurt.

Can Dylan and Annie put the past behind them and learn to trust one another? Will secrets and insecurities rip them apart? You have to read this conclusion to a sexy, suspenseful, and emotional series. There are more dynamics and story-lines going on in this book, and I wish it had maybe been a little longer, but I still loved it. I am giving it 4.5 out of 5 stars.

    Everything I left unsaid….
You are “not” the one who got away….. I consider it one of the best things when you slipped through my fingers. So to quote Adele’s “Hello”….. it doesn’t tear me apart anymore…..
I’m so glad, so very glad I visited all the beautiful places throughout the world, but breaking up was meant to be because it allowed me to fly free and sore to find the one who holds my heart, and will forever.
