Synopsis

What if the person you were falling for was a total mystery?

While Lily is spacing out in Chemistry one day, she picks up her pencil and scribbles a line from one of her favorite songs on the desk. The next day, someone else has written back to her on the desk! Soon enough Lily and the mystery student are exchanging notes, and lyrics, and even sharing secrets. When Lily finds out that her anonymous pen pal is a guy, she’s flustered — and kind of feels like she’s falling for him. She and her best friend set out to unravel the identity of the letter writer — but when the truth is revealed, the guy is the LAST person Lily could have ever imagined it to be. Now that Lily knows the truth, can she untangle her feelings and gather the courage to listen to her heart?

From beloved author Kasie West (The Distance Between Us) comes an utterly charming story about mixed messages, missed connections, and the magic of good old-fashioned secret admirer notes.

Review

I would like to thank the publisher for providing me with an advance copy of P.S. I Like You for an honest review.

P.S. I Like You is flirty, adorable, and fun! I loved the chemistry and that misconceptions about how someone and pride can sometimes make you miss out on what could be a great opportunity or friendships. Sometimes we think we know something or have everything figured out and make up our minds, never giving it a chance. This happens with more of us then we would like to admit but I love how Kasie shows that sometimes we can be so off, and really only get in our own way.

Lily is quirky and not the most popular girl in school. She has her own unique style and is confident in who she is. She has her best friend and is fine with that. She is really smart and does well in school but Chemistry is really hard for her. She starts writing on a desk and soon she starts getting replies.

She is trying to figure out who it could be but then decides she doesn’t want the mystery ruined. This soon becomes her escape from the guy she can’t stand at school and her home life with all its craziness. Her dreams to be a song writer and musician she doesn’t feel she can fully share with anyone but she starts to open up to this pen-pal like no one else.

Will Lily find out who the pen-pal is? Will the reality of who the person is ruin everything or fulfill her fantasies? Can she learn to let her guard down and go for her dreams? You have to read this adorable book to find out!

I loved P.S. I Like You, I flew through the pages. You may figure things out quick but that is okay because the mystery is not all of it, the chemistry and getting past your life obstacles is more of the story. I just heart this book so much!!! I need to get a a hardcover of it and add it to my read again, and again shelf! I would definitely recommend P.S. I Like you and give it 5 out of 5 stars.
