Walker Lund never expected that a chance at love would hit him right on the mouth. Since the moment his brother decided to settle down, Walker has been dodging his family’s hopes that he’ll do the same. He’s never been interested in following in anyone’s footsteps. But when he discovers his sexy assailant has given him a fake name and number he suddenly finds himself in the mood for a little hot pursuit…
I would like to thank the publisher for providing me with an advance copy of Just What I Needed for an honest review.
Just What I Needed was romantic, sweet, sexy and humorous. The hot and sexy Walker with is beard and man bun, was a definite plus. Trinity has a strong personality and I really liked her, she at times does things with gusto and then other times wonders why people want to be around her. She has had a rough upbringing and her art and how she connects things, her process makes her sometimes shut down. This made Trinity make some blunders but also made her more intriguing. I loved that Walker is just a laid back patient guy, though he looks completely opposite of that.
Trinity meets Walker when he walks in a bar and she goes up to him and just starts making out with him. He wants her to explain why she did it and who she is. Miscommunication will lead them to assume the worst but then fate will have their paths crossing again.
Will Walker allow Trinity to explain? Can Trinity deal with a distraction like Walker in her life right now?
Just What I Needed was full of great chemistry and that push and pull dynamic. At moments I was screaming at my book going NO!!! Other moments I was laughing out loud! It was a fun read, it was a little predictable but i did enjoy it! I am giving 4 out of 5 stars.
