I would like to thank the publisher for providing me with an advance copy of Empress Of A Thousand Skies for an honest review.

Empress Of A Thousand Skies is a fun, action packed book full of suspense and twists and turns that are so unexpected! I loved the rotating POV’s and that they offered such a diverse cast and a complete picture to all that is happening in the world Belleza has created. Between Aly and Rhee you get the struggles from the different races and cultures. This sci-fi novel is a great book to pick up and add to your collection!

Rhiannon or Rhee witnessed her parents and older sister die. She believes they were murdered because of a treaty her Father signed, and she thinks his best friend is the one who did it. She has spent her life training and waiting to seek vengeance for what was done to them.

Alyosha or Aly is a star of a TV show, and wants fame and approval. He has a costar named Vin and feels like he always has to prove himself because of his race. Even though the Great War has ended and the peace treaty was signed, so many still hold prejudice. Aly is determined to make people see him as nothing like the stereotypes they have been taught or believe.

When Rhee is betrayed and Aly is framed, both of their worlds will change.

Will Aly be able to prove that he did not kill the princess? Can Rhee find out who killed her family?

Empress of a Thousand Skies is one book I just flew through the pages and connected with even though I almost never read sci-fi books. The book does have a Star Wars feel but is still original and stands on its own as a great sci-fi, space novel. It kept my interest and was one I really loved. I am hoping that maybe the final copy will have a longer epilogue but if not it is still great. I am giving it 4.5 out of 5 stars.
