Griffin has just popped the question—yes, that question—and Michael doesn’t have an answer. He flees town for New Orleans to see his confidante and sometime-Domme, Mistress Nora. Will a weekend of beignets and beatings help him untangle his knotted-up heart?
Thus begins Michael’s Wings, the eponymous novella that kicks off the latest entry in Tiffany Reisz’s LAMBDA Literary Award-winning* Original Sinners series.
This companion collection to fan-favorite The Angel also contains six previously-published stories starring Mistress Nora’s favorite angel and Griffin—his master, his true love, and the sexy-as-hell bane of Michael’s existence.
NOTE: If you haven’t read the Original Sinners series, this collection of connected short stories and novellas isn’t the place to begin! Start with The Siren (available now from Mira Books).

I would like to thank the author for providing me with an advance copy of Michael’s Wings for an honest review.
Michael’s Wings is an erotic collection of short stories from Mick and Griff that is fantastically woven and all connects perfectly with one another. I loved how this collection is arranged, it just makes so much sense in unwrapping so many pieces to their relationship and how it got to the point it is at in the beginning. This is one of the best couples in the Original Sinners series. I love their humor, flirtation and just everything about their relationship.
Michael’s Wings – 5 stars
For this story which opens the book you will not want to read this unless you have read book 6 in the Original Sinners series. This is where after an incident Griff asks Mick to marry him. Mick has so many questions and goes to see Nora for help. This is amazing an beginning of this book.
Griffin’s Wonderland – 4.5 Stars
Griffin is struggling with drugs when Kingsley offers him an opportunity. He gives him a chance to get clean and stay clean and put his energy into something that he thinks he has been missing in his life. Something that could replace the high and give him one he has never felt.
Gauze – 4 Stars
Michael has had a hard time with gauze since it triggers his feelings from when he attempted suicide. Griffin helps him work through it.
The Theory of the Moment – 3 Stars
This is a conversation between Griffin and Michael’s mom about how each person has a moment that they are meant for in life. He believed his was the night he saved Mick from his dad. He lets her know that being a support to Mick could be hers.
The Couch – 4.5 Stars
Griffin and Michael have their first fight and it is over a couch but they end up making up on the couch too.
A Better Distraction – 5 Stars
Griff worries about hurting Michael again. He wants to take things slow and is treating him like he is fragile and he hates it. Mick has an art project due and decides it is the perfect opportunity for him to reconnect with Griff and get him to open up to him.
Christmas in Suite 37A – 5 Stars
This is my second favorite short and it is where Griff brings Mick to this hotel room and shares an important part of his past to show him how much he means to him and more about why certain things are so important to him.
Will Mick say yes? Will Griff finally get the family he has been wanting? You have to read this Original Sinners Collection to find out!
Michael’s Wings is an amazing group of short stories that give you the passion, heat, and love between Mick and Griff, while also showing you their history. I loved getting to know this couple better and they always have such great chemistry. I would definitely recommend this book and I am giving it 4.5 out of 5 stars.
