Secret Identities.
Extraordinary Powers.
She wants vengeance. He wants justice.

The Renegades are a syndicate of prodigies—humans with extraordinary abilities—who emerged from the ruins of a crumbled society and established peace and order where chaos reigned. As champions of justice, they remain a symbol of hope and courage to everyone…except the villains they once overthrew.

Nova has a reason to hate the Renegades, and she is on a mission for vengeance. As she gets closer to her target, she meets Adrian, a Renegade boy who believes in justice—and in Nova. But Nova’s allegiance is to a villain who has the power to end them both.

Morgan’s Review

I would like to thank the publisher for providing me with an advance copy of Renegades for an honest review.

Renegades is one of those books that I instantly could see as a movie or TV show. It has a great opening and is full of action and an amazing cast of characters. Marissa builds such fantastic worlds and this is no exception and the sci-fi elements were just so inventive. I loved the creativity. This book felt familiar but still something fresh and new, that is hard to do.  Meyer’s manages to pull it off seamlessly.

Nova is young when she witnesses her family be murdered. The whole time she believes that the Renegades/heroes will come and help her. They never come and she is left to save herself. She is soon found by her uncle and raised to be an Anarchist. She wants the world to go back to the days when no Renegades interfered in peoples lives.

Adrian is a Renegade in training and just trying to live up to his dads. He is creating a persona behind everyone’s back, that he wants to try to impress them with, but it soon back fires and he has to keep it a secret until he can improve it.

Nova has kept her identity under wraps and when the Renegades start looking for new recruits, she and her companions see this as an opportunity for her to go undercover.

Will Nova get the secrets she seeks while undercover? Will Adrian find the answers that he so desperately is after?

Renegades is a fast paced, swoon wortyh read! I loved the twist and knew something would happen but now can’t wait to see where it goes from here. I think this is a book that both teens and adult will enjoy. I definitely would recommend and am giving it 4 out of 5 stars.

My favorite ANARCHISTS right away is Honey/Queen Bee. I love her fashion and that she worries about how her life has changed and if people have forgotten about her. Yes she is a bit of a diva but that is kinda what I love about her!
