Rating: 5 Stars

From the wrong side of the tracks and with most of her family in jail or dead, Piper Walsh is used to everyone in town thinking the worst about her. It doesn’t seem to matter that she’s worked hard to build a good life for herself. So she isn’t surprised that when she comes into contact with Sweet Hill’s wildly irresistible, arrogant sheriff, Hale Walters, they’re instant adversaries. Piper has nothing in common with the town golden-boy-turned-lawman—and she refuses to be a notch on his bedpost.

Despite rumors, Hale avoids fooling around with the women of Sweet Hill, many of whom are hoping to get him to the altar. But staying out of Piper’s path is proving near impossible. The infuriating troublemaker clearly has no respect for his badge. As she continues to push his buttons, it becomes clear to Hale that he must either arrest Piper—or claim her as his own.

Morgan’s Review

I would like to thank the publisher for providing me with an advance review copy of Beautiful Lawman for an honest review.

Beautiful Lawman is a book that deals with prejudices, has passion and heart! Not judging someone on outward appearances and thinking you know their story is something Sophie dealt with seamlessly. This book had me hook-line and sinker right from the first page. I have loved this series but this one exceeded my expectations. The chemistry is amazing and this book had so many high points. Sophie nailed it!!!

Hale thinks he knows right from wrong and believes there is never any gray when it comes to the law. The thing is until you are put in a situation for someone you love then how can really know. That is the situation that Piper has been in with her older brother.

Everyone in town thinks they know Piper and her siblings, that they got their number. They think they are nothing but trouble because of their families past and where they grew up. The thing is Piper really doesn’t care about that, her focus is on getting her sister out of the town and into college.

Hale being the sheriff and Piper hating the law, they both have more than enough reasons to stay away from each other. There is just one big problem, they are both attracted to each other and that is a big problem because Hale doesn’t do relationships and Piper is not looking for just a hookup for her first time.

Will Hale and Piper be able to fight their attraction to each other? Can Hale deal with Piper’s past and will he want a future? You have to read this amazing book to find out!

Beautiful Lawman, is that book that I can’t stop talking about. It has been one that has stuck with me and I will reread over and over again. I am so looking forward to Cruz’s book! I would definitely recommend and I am giving it 5 out 5 stars.

Damn his voice was deep. Full of gavel. It sounded like sex.

This time both both corners of his mouth lifted to a full-blown smile. It was devastating. Unfairly, it made him even more attractive. She bet the women in this town threw themselves at him.
And that annoyed her more.

He’d seen a lot of unsavory things in his career…but the possibility of Piper Walsh turning tricks and letting strange men climb over her body in the same house she shared with her sister made him want to break something.

pg. 33

His face and body might be the stuff of dreams but this man, Sheriff Hale Walters, was the stuff of her nightmares.

pg. 71

“You want me as much as I want you. Do’t deny it. You want to feel me moving deep inside you. And not just once. Again and again until we’re both so spent we fall asleep. And then we’ll wake up and start all over again.”
