And that it requires a sham relationship—with Annika playing the part of loving girlfriend.

On fire in the rink and in the bedroom, Axl Hammerquist couldn’t care less about being anyone’s golden boy. So when his agent forces him to play nice with a new publicist, he takes satisfaction in being as much of a pain as possible. Morgan’s Review

I would like to thank the publisher for providing me with an advance copy of All You Need for an honest review.

All You Need is such a great sports romance novel. The witty nicknames and both Axl and Annika being smart and sassy, it is way more than each other planned on. The chemistry is so great and I loved that they surprise one another. The relationship that both family and friends play in their life have effected them.

Annika is a strong, smart and successful business woman. She also is a language interpreter. She is asked to be an interpreter and also to help Axl, a hockey player to improve his persona.

Axl is a playboy, he has a reputation with the ladies and it is hurting his image. His agent asks Annika to help him fix his image by becoming his pretend girlfriend. The hard part for both Axl and Annika is not admitting the attraction they both have for one another, and the preconceived notions that get in the way. Since Annika speaks his language their relationship doesn’t have the typical language barrier that he may have had with other girls.

Can Axl keep it from everyone that he speaks English or will he decide to be honest? Will Annika and Axl’s sneaking around backfire? Can appearances be deceiving? You have to read this book to find out!

All You Need is a fun, romantic, fast-page-turner, that has chemistry so hot it burns up the pages! I really loved the teasing, plus the push and pull in the relationship. This was such an enjoyable read and I can’t wait to read Jensen’s journey. I definitely recommend and I am giving it 4.5 out of 5 stars.

(Signal Airship #1)
Published by Tor Books
Release Date: May 2, 2017

Synopsis

The nation of Garnia has been at war for as long as Auxiliary Lieutenant Josette Dupris can remember – this time against neighboring Vinzhalia. Garnia’s Air Signal Corp stands out as the favored martial child of the King. But though it’s co-ed, women on-board are only allowed “auxiliary” crew positions and are banned from combat. In extenuating circumstances, Josette saves her airship in the heat of battle. She is rewarded with the Mistral, becoming Garnia’s first female captain.

She wants the job – just not the political flak attached. On top of patrolling the front lines, she must also contend with a crew who doubts her expertise, a new airship that is an untested deathtrap, and the foppish aristocrat Lord Bernat – a gambler and shameless flirt with the military know-how of a thimble. He’s also been assigned to her ship to catalog her every moment of weakness and indecision. When the Vins make an unprecedented military move that could turn the tide of the war, can Josette deal with Bernat, rally her crew, and survive long enough to prove herself to the top brass?

Meet LuLaRoe Tari and Jaime: LuLaRoe Product Review & Giveaway

LuLaRoe Banner.jpg

I am going to start with saying I will first share my experience with LuLaRoe and my journey to get to try the product to see how I felt about it. I will share how you can get these clothes and check out the prices. You can also enter the giveaway at the bottom to win a pair to try for free.

I saw a bunch of my friends getting these cute leggings, dresses and skirts and more online and taking pictures. I looked at what brand the clothes where and got excited and wanted to check them out. This was a year ago. I went online to check out prices, store locations and found out you could not order online or get the prices. You have to know a consultant. I gave up on getting the clothes I was worried they would be too expensive and also didn’t want to be pressured to buy!

A year later and a friend of mine says she is selling LuLaRoe and I was so excited because finally I could ask questions with out the pressure and maybe get my hands on these clothes to know if they are worth the fuss!

My Thoughts on LuLaRoe

  • The product versus the cost – They may cost a little more, depending on the store you buy from but my opinion is it is worth it. I would pay usually $15 to $20 for leggings in a store and these leggings are only a little more than that depending on the size. I feel the quality, comfort, and guarantees make it worth buying the product!
  • The fun unique patterns – The clothes have fun patterns but you can also find great business or professional clothes too, if that is what you are looking for. I love books, and all the fun selection of patterns and fabrics make if fun to mix the clothes with your books. If you love taking pictures or going out with your books and matching, then these clothes are perfect!
  • The clothes are made to be comfortable, stylish and fit almost all body types!

Praise for THE SEEKERS

“The feeling of imminent danger and the constant battles with terrifying creatures help bring this vivid story to life. However, the depth of characterization is what will make readers connect to this small group of teens on a mission to save humanity. Gideon and Daryn display a powerful chemistry from their very first meeting, while the personality conflicts between Gideon and his fellow horsemen keep this adventure both intense and humorous.”―RT Book Reviews, Top Pick!

Madison’s Review

I would like to thank the publisher for providing me with an advance copy of Saint Death for an honest review.

Saint Death is a book full of suspense, danger, true friendship, and tragedy. Reading this book, I learned how far we will go to help close friends, and whether or not we learn from our friends’ mistakes before we make the same ones. Saint Death was a nail biting thrill ride and had my heart pacing against my ribcage.

Arturo has grown accustomed to his below average life living in a shack, (which is the norm for him) until Faustino, his best friend who has been missing over a year, shows up at his doorstep. Although enraged, Arturo is slightly relieved to see the old friend again. That is, until Faustino asks him for help. Faustino asks him for help so terrifying and dangerous that it could potentially put Arturo’s life at risk as well.

Whenever Faustino shows up at Arturo’s door, he is not alone. He is with his girlfriend, Eva, and their baby. He also has hopes to smuggle the two into America, and in these hopes, he has stolen one thousand American dollars from the leader of his gang and needs Arturo’s help getting back the thousand dollars before it is too late.

What lines will Arturo cross for his friend and his friend’s family? Will Arturo stay on the down low for his own safety?

Saint Death literally left me staring at my bedroom wall shaking with sweet adrenaline. This book dragged me through many high and low points of emotion. Reading this book I felt every drop of dread Arturo felt. Sedgwick did an incredible job with Saint Death and I enjoyed this book probably more than any other book I’ve read. I have not read any other book that has the same feel of this book. I really loved this book and I am giving it 5 out of 5 stars.

Marcus Sedgwick was born in Kent, England. Marcus is a British author and illustrator as well as a musician. He is the author of several books, including Witch Hill and The Book of Dead Days, both of which were nominated for the Edgar Allan Poe Award. The most recent of these nominations rekindled a fascination with Poe that has borne fruit here in (in The Restless Dead, 2007) the form of “The Heart of Another” – inspired by Poe’s “The Tell-Tale Heart.” Of his story, Sedgwick says, “This was one of those stories that I thought might be a novel originally but actually was much better suited to the tight form of the short story. I had the initial idea some years ago but was just waiting for the right ingredient to come along. Poe’s story, as well as his own fascination with technique, provided that final piece of the puzzle.”

He used to play for two bands namely playing the drums for Garrett and as the guitarist in an ABBA tribute group. He has published novels such as Floodland (winner of the Branford Boase Award in 2001) and The Dark Horse (shortlisted for The Guardian Children’s Book Award 2002).
